Seek Him

This is a poem that I wrote based on the Scripture:

“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13

Seek Him

To seek You in the morning,

When the world is bathed in light;

To seek You in the evening,

In the shadows of the night;

To seek You in the stillness,

In the quiet and the calm;

To seek You in the trial,

And find in You a balm.

I seek You, for You sought me first,

And lavished me with grace;

And by Your grace I’ll seek You

Till I behold Your face.
